What is an eCheck (ACH)?
"ACH" stands for Automated Clearing House, a secure network used to connect U.S. banks to each other.
An eCheck is like a paper check, only you send it online. eChecks are also sometimes called an electronic funds transfer, because money is directly withdrawn from and posted to bank accounts.

How does eCheck work ?
You receive checks for payment via mail or person. Checks are scanned through a scanner. Check data is confirmed for accuracy and transferred from the scanner into our web based system. Our processing center receives the check data and processes all consumer check items through the ACH. We convert the non consumer items into Image Replacement Documents and deposit them. The check writer's account is debited and the business account is credited in 48 hours.

Can we resubmit bounced checks ?
When you make deposits electronically, you'll be notified automatically when a check bounces — usually within 2-3 days.
You can also re-submit returned checks with one click.

If I deposit a check remotely and it bounces or turns out to be fraudulent, then what happens? Is there any difference from if I had deposited it at the bank?
There is no differences between remote deposit and deposit in bank. Banking regulation rules regarding the handling of returned and fraudulent checks are the same, regardless of how the checks are deposited. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, it can simply be resubmitted electronically
